Naeem Islam was the top scorer with 44 but he played 40 balls for it. Other batters too could not up the ante and Chittagong Kings were restricted at 148/6 in 20 overs. For the Capitals, Mosaddek Hossain bowled his three overs for only 13 runs and grabbed a couple of wickets. Nazmul Islam also got two wickets.
Capitals were off to a solid start thanks to Tanzid and his opening partner Litton Das. The duo added 75 runs for the first wicket before Das fell for 25. Tanzid, however, kept going well and single-handedly took his team to the target of 149. Tanzid smashed seven sixes and three fours in his 54-ball stay and finished with an unbeaten 91 as the Capitals reached the target with 11 balls still left in the game.
This is the third win for Dhaka Capitals in 10 games. They have lost seven matches. Chittagong Kings now have five wins and four losses in nine games and are at third, just above the Capitals who are at the fourth spot.
